It is with a heavy heart that I announce the impending closure of Fired Treasures studio in Mill Hill at the end of March 2019. Our building and the plot of land behind us are being redeveloped so we have to vacate the premises. As I have been unable to find alternative suitable premises to relocate the business will cease trading from this site. I will continue to teach and run pottery workshops from my home studio and hopefully a new shop will be found in the coming months, so watch this space!
We will be open for business as normal up to mid March and then we will be open just for pottery collections and paint and take. Please come by and visit us, to paint, have a coffee or just to say hi. The last 12 years have been incredible. I have met so many wonderful people, seen your kids grow up and hopefully given a whole lot of creative pleasure and happiness to many.
Fired Treasures was started by Ceramic artist Ruth Sacks and opened its doors in October 2006 as a pottery painting studio and has grown over the past six years into the creative arts studio it is today. We now offer a large range of fun activities for the whole family such as Canvas Art, acrylic painting, Foam Clay, Decopatch, Make-a-Bear, Glass fusing and Enamelling and a variety of workshops, classes and camps to keep all our customers up to date with new ideas, techniques and to keep creatively active. The studio is a relaxing, fun place to hang out with friends and family and even if you are not painting, we can offer you a delicious range of hot drinks, cookies and confectionary to keep your taste-buds happy. Our staff are here to help and are knowledgeable and friendly, so if you have any questions, suggestions or ideas, please let us know.
